Storm Damage – Phoenix Warehouse
Storm damage struck this Phoenix warehouse during a band of severe thunderstorms. The massive amount of rain caused muddy water to begin flowing into the building. SERVPRO of Central Phoenix was contacted during the storm in hopes of an emergency service to stop the muddy water from entering the building. The efforts of the SERVPRO technicians was successful, but gallons of muddy water had already entered the warehouse and was threatening to damage stored inventory. The water needed to be cleaned up fast. Our technicians would first remove any contents to remove them from harm and to make way for the water cleanup project. The source of the water intrusion would be repaired as the crew was suctioning up the muddy water with commercial grade water extraction equipment. After the water was removed, the drying phase would be implemented using commercial air movers and dehumidification equipment. When dry the contents would be moved back into the warehouse.
